Key reminders:
✅ All on-site fabric materials (e.g., curtains, protective nets, plastic sheeting, tarpaulins) must be flame-retardant and comply with recognized standards such as:
GB 5725-2009 (Safety Net)
BS 5867-2:2008 (Type B)
NFPA 701:2019 (Test Method 2)
✅ Regularly clear debris and combustible materials from scaffolding and work areas to prevent fire hazards.
✅ Refer to the latest guidelines from the Buildings Department (Circular Ref: BD GP/BORD/71, dated 21 Mar 2023) and the Fire Services Department for full compliance.
