Strengthening National Security in the Property Management Industry

Following our online meeting with the Property Management Services Authority (PMSA) on 9 April 2026, we fully supports the new licensing conditions and the revised Code of Conduct (No. C1/2020) announced by the PMSA on 8 April 2026, effective on 10 April 2026.

Under the Property Management Services Ordinance (Cap. 626), licensed property management companies and practitioners must now comply with national security laws. Any act or activity that constitutes, may lead to, or is considered by the PMSA to be detrimental to national security or the public interest of Hong Kong will be strictly prohibited.

As a key frontline industry serving the community, upholding national security is both our legal duty and professional responsibility. HKAPMC urges all members to review the new requirements and ensure full compliance.
